Intimate Voices wins Lee Ettelson Composers Award

My Intimate Voices for string quartet was selected as the winner of the 2017 Lee Ettelson Composers Award.  Chosen from over ___ entries, it will be performed in the Bay Area by Composers Inc. during their 2017-18 season.

Intimate Voices was commissioned by Miriam Schulman for the Lyris Quartet as a companion piece to Janacek’s Intimate Letters.  It was released on the Lyris Quartet’s debut CD, Intimate Letters.
